Salute From The Shore

Where: ON THE BEACH
What is it: Join in this yearly tradition for the 3rd annual Salute from the Shore. Air Force F-16 “Vipers” flown by 79th Fighter Squadron “The Flying Tigers” of the 20th Fighter Wing from Shaw Air Force Base have committed to execute a low altitude Flyover of the SC coast. Their goal is to again have 1 million people on the beaches and to capture the event on video from land and from the air. The flyover will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. in North Carolina. The salute will fly south, covering EVERY beach in SC! This will end by 1:30 p.m., so make sure you\'re on the beach to be part of this special event!
